The Band
The Camarillo-based Gold Coast Pipe Band was formed in 1999 and combined with the award winning Pacific Coast Highlanders in 2022. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and compete in numerous WUSPBA Highland Games. The band performs in the Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles areas, and for 10 years were regular on-stage performers with the Chieftain's. The band also played at the wedding of Oscar winner Sandra Bullock in Santa Barbara, a surprise for Ewan McGregor on the set of the movie 'Beginners,' commencements, St. Patrick's Day celebrations, birthday and anniversary parties, golf tournaments, military, fire and police department functions as well as funerals, parades, fundraisers, car shows and civic affairs. The band also surprised "Cheers" star John Ratzenberger on his birthday. It's members have played for the funeral services of First Lady Nancy Reagan, The Reverend Billy Graham, ZZ Top Bass Player Dusty Hill, famed-author Tom Clancy, the funeral of a fallen Green Baret at Arlington National Cemetery, the wedding of TV star Mark-Paul Gosselaar, appeared on TV, radio and movie soundtracks. The Gold Coast Pipe Band proudly wears the Wallace tartan to all of its events! Music selections the band has played over the years incorporate many favorites such as 'Amazing Grace' and 'Scotland the Brave' as well as new tunes that create lasting memories. We can customize the band for any event from a single piper and drummer to a six piece miniband or the entire pipe band! We can even provide award winning Irish dancers for that very special occasion. Contact us today to book your event.
